Welcome to Wexford K-9 Search and Rescue. We are a non-profit volunteer organisation providing K9 search and rescue assistance. We operate on request from An Garda Síochána, other agencies, and families of the missing.
About us
Wexford K-9 Search and Rescue is a non-profit staffed by volunteers from professional K9 training backgrounds. At present we have two operational K9s, Rocky and Rocco.
Rocky is a general-purpose search dog, trailing (following where someone has walked) land cadaver and human remains detection trained dog.
Rocco is a general-purpose cadaver dog; he locates human remains on land and on water from a boat. We work the buddy system on searches and pride ourselves on teamwork.
We are very happy to carry out school and group talks in order to enhance education on the importance of utilising search dogs. Please contact us for further information.
